October 9, 2021 Last Tuesday The Frugal Mrs. Thompson and I attended a dinner put on by the North Carolina Family Policy Council. The keynote speaker was a man by the name of Roger Severino. Severino, the son of Columbian immigrants, is an American success story. He grew up in poverty, but made his way through the University of Southern California, Carnegie Mellon University, and Harvard Law School.
